For me, it was a wonderful experience because I have access to all the courses from the comfort of my home and was learning at my convenience. I must say, I have learned new soft and technical skills I didn’t know or have before. I also have some ideas on how to go about starting a business, like carrying out a market survey first. My experience so far has been overwhelming as I am already implementing what I have learned in the past weeks. This is a wonderful experience for me.

The experience has been eye-opening for the past 4 weeks. As basic as some courses (Microsoft 101, Digital literacy), I was wowed by tremendous hidden information, and new knowledge acquired through them. I have been able to learn and know more about Microsoft packages and how to maximize its usage, most especially some packages where I thought I have mastery.
Thanks to the AfDB, McAnderson Institute, and my learning centre (Covenant University) for this awesome experience. I must commend the efforts of all the facilitators. They are very awesome, and the facilitation sessions were interactive all through. Thanks once again to all the partners that make this happen.

The lessons are insightful and great. They exposed me to many different novel ways to tackle information input in a Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, etc. I’m happy to have learned so much about the Microsoft Outlook, soft skills… in fact, all the courses are enjoyable if you have a passion for learning something new. I also find the use of OneDrive very interesting. Truly, I remain indebtedly grateful to Microsoft, African Development Bank, and the affiliate institutions for making available such life-changing knowledge to the generality of African youths. All we’ve to do is to encourage more youths to take the course and there’s nothing we can’t do using the computer and different software to help ourselves. Thanking you a lot!
Hajara Hassan Abdullahi
I thank Almighty Allah for allowing me to register with you, it is indeed a great achievement for me. I enjoyed being with you since the first week. My overall experience in the Coding for Employment program is that I learned as much as possible about Microsoft, in which before I know nothing about Microsoft, just the computer which is the introductory part.
